This opening was a lot of fun with some great pieces and interesting guests including former Congressman and political commentator Harold Ford Jr. and 60 minutes' Jimmy Tingle. I have six pieces in this show.

Artist Michael D'Antuono made his first appearence as Wall Street Wally (the greedy corporate hog) at Liberty Square on Thursday, October 6th. There he was greeted by an admiring crowd taking pictures with him as he handed out free posters of his American Pie painting.

Closing Reception/Artists Dialogue for the 'Faces of The Economy" exhibit at the Art For Change gallery in NYC will be held on Saturday, July 9, 7-11pm. Michael will be participating in the Artists Dialogue - an Art for Change tradition to use art to inspire poignant dialogue and enhanced awareness of artistic responses to social justice issues. Michael's two paintings in the exhibit were prominately featured in emmy winning reporter Gabe Pressman's recent segment on NBC.

Michael has two paintings in the 'Faces of The Economy" exhibit at the Art For Change gallery in NYC.
On Independence Day Michael tackled the subject of energy independence with an art installation at NYC's Washington Square Park. There he uveiled his paintings "Independence" and "Dependence" to the public to view and respond.
Michael's controversial painting "The Truth" became an international news story. The painting became the most emailed image on the internet. It was featured on The Glen Beck Show, Break Room Live with Mark Maron, The L.A. Times, The National Review, and many other publications and shows internationally.
Michael's portrait of Ray Charles was recently auctioned for the charity organization Ability Beyond Disability benifitting individuals whose independent living skills are impaired by disability, illness or injury.
