I had the great fortune to visit with the legendary folk singer, activist, and environmentalist, Pete Seeger at his cabin overlooking the Hudson River. We discussed my art, his art, how the arts can influence sociopolitical conditions and the pushback one gets when one creates controversial art. Pete even sang a bit and shared his muffins with me. All in all, a day I will always cherish. – Michael D’Antuono

Sharing muffins with Pete Seeger. It doesn’t get better than this.

Pete showing Michael some of his political drawings.

p.s. A couple of days after my visit, Pete came by and graciously inscribed the frame of my portrait of him.
